I love this quote because I can relate.  I've always felt different than my peers growing up and had opposing views of who and what God is and what the purpose of life is on this earth. Since I was very young, I felt like I needed to do something for this crazy planet. Especially for animals! Yes! I'm a big time animal lover. But I'm just one person! I can't change the world, but maybe I can send love and comfort to those who seek it! And I believe I am being guided by the love of an unseen hand. God? The Holy Spirit? Angels? Spirit guides?

I always questioned what didn't make sense to me. I didn't and still don't believe something just because someone says, it is so. I seek answers by reading and gathering information from different sources and make up my own mind about what feels right to me. If I feel love or comforted by what I read, then I tend to believe it is true! God is love!

Many people I've met are afraid to think outside the box. This takes courage! Many are afraid of criticism. But this comes with the territory. As Maya Angelou once said, One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. -Maya Angelou
